OAU Student Allegedly Caught In Toilet Flushing Newborn

A female student of Obafemi Awolowo University,
OAU, Ile Ife was yesterday reportedly apprehended by
authorities of the institution after she allegedly
attempted to flush her new born baby down a toilet.
The shocking incident was said to have happened at
the popular Moremi Hall of residence on the campus.
It was learnt that the student, in her late 20s is of the
Department of Agricultural extension in the university
was allegedly caught by one of the cleaners, who
raised alarm when she noticed blood streaming from
the gutter of the toilet, which linked the drainage.
Other sources said the student is a 400 level student
of the Electrical&Electronics Engineering department.
