Hawking is the act of carrying goods from one geographical location to another with the aim of selling the goods to make money,
This days, on our busy streets, majority of the hawkers are children within the age of 4 to 16 years, most of them does it for the survival of their family, these children are been abused and deprived of their rights, though some of them from very poor homes has no choice but do it.
While on the road, these children pass through many challenges and at times meets with dangerous people that can affect them negatively. As a result of these many are forced to be involved in illegal practices. Through these day to day exposure these under-aged individuals turnout to be armrobbers, prostitutes,terrorists and others involved in somany other criminal vices, these under-aged individuals turns out to be come more illegal personnel,
These does not mean that only hawker turns out to be bad individuals, but they are presented as the most at risk persons.
This act of hawking distroys the life of those individuals because they will live in fear of every thing that comes their way. These individuals loose their humanity, integrity and their dream for a better future has been shattered. The right time we put an end to it the better it gets for these vulnerable children
